Boasting 26 years of diverse experience, I've donned multiple hats, including higher education administration, K-12 prevention program development, adjunct professorship, mental health crisis and disaster response, and private practice. For the past 17 years, I've served as the Director of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.

My goal is to empower clients to reach their potential by setting goals, developing problem-solving skills, and coping strategies. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, I enjoy city life in Houston and love traveling, reading, football, music, and puzzles.

Jan specializes in children, adolescents, and adults. Clients with depression & anxiety, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, general life stressors, and transitions (grief, divorce, major changes in life circumstances).
