I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work and a BA in Psychology. Originally from Southern California, I moved to Texas 12 years ago. I have 12 years of experience as a school social worker and 5 years as a medical social worker at Cook Children’s Medical Center. I also have experience with the Department of Protective Social Services in California.

My goal in private practice is to assist both adults and children in overcoming life's obstacles, promoting fulfillment and resilience. My empathetic and reassuring approach creates a safe and welcoming environment for clients.

Melissa specializes in children, behavior issues, adolescents, and adults, and addresses concerns such as depression, anxiety, and life stressors.
